1. Service Agreement

Establishing a partnership with HIH SUPPLY CHAIN INC means we're committed to your cargo's safety. Our trucking company operates under strict USDOT regulations. Don't worry, our logistics experts handle the paperwork, but you're responsible for accurate manifest data.

Have you reviewed your current freight liability requirements? We recommend verifying insurance caps before scheduling high-value hauls across state lines.

2. Freight Liability & Logistics

Liability for loss or damage is governed by the Carmack Amendment for domestic hauls. At HIH SUPPLY CHAIN INC, we maintain a $1,000,000 cargo policy to ensure peace of mind. However, specific exclusions apply to hazardous materials unless disclosed in writing 72 hours prior to pickup.

Logistics timelines are estimates, not guarantees. While we boast a 98% on-time delivery rate, weather and infrastructure hurdles happen. We'll always communicate delays immediately through our real-time tracking portal.

3. Transportation Timelines

Supply chain efficiency depends on punctuality. Late cancellations (under 24 hours) incur a $150 fee to compensate our drivers for lost utilization. We believe in fair treatment for our road crew, and these fees help maintain the high-quality workforce you've come to expect.

What happens if a port strike delays your terminal entry? Our team will pivot to alternative staging sites to mitigate demurrage costs where possible.

4. Payment & Billing

Standard terms are Net 30 for established accounts. For new clients, we require a 50% deposit on the first three hauls. It's how we keep the wheels turning. Payments can be made via ACH or corporate check sent to our Austin, TX office at 5900 Balcones Drive.
